About Rayban
Rayban Window Tinting was established in 1975 by George Mariotti, servicing the car dealerships in Osborne Park. Rayban built a reputation for providing the highest level of service and quality standards whilst offering the latest technology in high performing tinting products. Mr Mariotti is now based in Melbourne where he is heavily involved in product development for MEP, one of Australia’s main suppliers of high quality window films. With over 30 years experience at the forefront of innovation in window tinting, Mr Mariotti is now considered the technical guru in Australia.
Current owners Graham and Anne Gaunt have maintained the same high values in quality, service and innovation that are synonymous with the Rayban name. Since buying the business in 1997, Rayban has shifted its focus away from automotive tinting to now specialise in flat glass home & office tinting. This shift reflected a change in market needs, with home energy efficiency becoming an increasing priority. Rayban has since enjoyed solid growth and shifted premises to its current location in Malaga, where it services the Perth Metropolitan area.
In 2006 Graham sought to satisfy customer’s needs for reducing noise in the home and began researching suitable products. Rayban now owns the Perth rights to Magnetite®, a revolutionary secondary glazing system that can reduce noise through windows by up to 70%, and helps maintain a constant temperature in both summer and winter. Window Tinting and Magnetite® complement each other to provide the Perth market with a total home energy efficiency and noise reduction solution. Rayban is a member of the WFAANZ (Window Film Association of Australia and New Zealand), the AWA (Australian Window Association), and are members of the Magnetite® Australian and New Zealand franchise.
